Fix Okemah is a low-cost spay and neuter incentive program.
This program was created by Animal Rescue League of Okemah in order to help control the overpopulation of dogs and cats in Okemah and Okfuskee County.
How it works:

- No Income restrictions
- Open to Okfuskee County Residents Only (please bring a copy of your water bill if you reside inside Okemah City Limits)
- *Required to fill out an application and payment made ahead of time. One application required per animal.
- *Cost is $35 per cat and $45 per dog. This includes spay or neuter, deworming and vaccinations.
- *If you have $12,000 or less total household income (must show proof) cost will be $20 per animal.
- * Dogs and cats as young as 8 weeks old can be done, as long as they weigh 2 lbs.
- *ARLO volunteers will transport your pet to and from Checotah for surgery.
